Personal Development Afternoons
At Lathallan we aim to equip the pupils with skills that they can use in their day-to-day lives, which will help them in further education or employment.
Personal Development Afternoons (PDA) are held on a Friday afternoon. This gives pupils a very enjoyable end to their academic week with a chance to learn new skills. This is where the true Lathallan ethos comes alive. We strongly believe in helping shape young minds to develop into confident, well-rounded individuals, sure of their rights and responsibilities in a modern society. We aim to equip all our pupils with life skills as well as academic excellence.
Pupils can choose from a wide range of skills and activities, from Sign Language to skiing! We also have opportunities for pupils to visit the local radio station and promote their own programme, through to helping restore a WW2 airplane at the local museum.
